These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, mobile application, and the purchase of our travel planning and booking services. By accessing our platform, creating an account, or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you must register for an account.

  • Signup Methods: You may sign up using your Google Account or by creating a new user profile with a valid email address.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and preference-collection process.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Service Description

tourly.lk provides a comprehensive travel ecosystem:

  • Self-Service Planner: A free automated tool that allows users to create basic itineraries after submitting their travel preferences.
  • Paid Expert Plan: A premium service where our travel experts manually review, customize, and optimize costs for your itinerary. This plan includes 24-hour online guide support provided exclusively via the tourly mobile app.
  • Booking Marketplace: Users can browse profiles and reserve services from third-party providers, including Guides & Safari Operators, Drivers & Vehicle Rentals, Stays (Hotels/Guesthouses), and Service Providers & Shops.

Bookings and Payments

  • Payment Processing: All payments for paid plans and service reservations are processed securely through PayHere.
  • Platform Role: tourly.lk acts as an intermediary platform. For every booking made, we collect the total payment, retain a platform commission, and assign the booking to the designated service provider.
  • Confirmations: A booking is considered confirmed only after the payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation notification.

Third-Party Service Providers

  • Independence: Service providers (drivers, hotels, etc.) listed on tourly.lk are independent contractors and not employees of tourly.lk.
  • Liability: While we vet our partners, tourly.lk is not liable for the direct actions, omissions, or quality of service provided by these third parties during your travel.

User Obligations

  • Preferences: You must provide clear travel preferences to receive relevant itinerary suggestions.
  • Connectivity: The 24-hour assistance feature requires an active internet connection. tourly.lk is not responsible for local network failures or hardware issues on the user's device.

Intellectual Property

The itineraries generated, the custom optimization logic, and all app content are the intellectual property of tourly.lk. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use these for their own travel. Unauthorized redistribution, resale, or commercial use of expert-optimized plans is strictly prohibited.

Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds for paid expert plans are generally not provided once the optimization work has begun. Refunds for marketplace bookings (e.g., hotels or drivers) are subject to the specific cancellation policy of the individual service provider and may include a deduction of the tourly.lk service fee.
